PRIVATE LESSONS
At Bare Necessities Dog Training, private training sessions are the core of all our programs. Each lesson is designed to teach you and your dog practical new skills in a personalized setting. The focus is on helping you confidently apply and maintain these behaviors in your daily routine together.
Day training
Day training outings are one-on-one sessions between your trainer and your dog. Starting from your home with p/u and d/o included we go to an appropriate pet friendly location local to you. These 30-60 sessions are designed to build obedience, confidence, and engagement while working through real-world distractions and everyday challenges. Focus is placed on teaching neutrality in public spaces, improving responsiveness, and strengthening your dog’s ability to stay calm and focused in new environments. These sessions are an important part of developing a well-rounded, reliable dog who feels comfortable and secure in daily life.
BOARD & TRAIN
Bare Necessities Dog Training offers an exclusive 2-6 week immersive board and train program for carefully selected dogs requiring individualized support and focused training. Dog's entering the program are integrated into Jade's home environment receiving daily customized training, enrichment and structured routine alongside resident dog, Bagheera. Because of the individualized nature and limited availability of this program, additional information is available upon request only.
GROUP CLASSES
We offer limited small-group classes in Port Moody/lower mainland as well as in the Comox Valley on Vancouver Island (exact locations are shared with approved clients). Current classes focus on neutrality, confidence building, and handler engagement for young dogs. Interested in a specialized class? Groups of 3 or more dogs are welcome to inquire about custom classes such as but not limited to: tricks, leash skills, foundations/obedience, competition prep and more.
ONLINE VIRTUAL TRAINING
Bare Necessities offers flexible virtual training options designed to support you and your dog whereever you are. Services include private online coaching, remote training programs and self-paced educational ebooks. Each option is designed to give you clear and practical guidance you can apply in everyday life with your dog, anywhere.
